WHY DO THE CHAKRAS HAVE COLOURS ASSOCIATED WITH THEM AND ARE THEY TRUE?

Why do the chakras have colours associated with them and are they true?

I can affirm that the colours of the chakras are true as I have actually seen the colour of the heart chakra. Here is the story:

In 2013 I took my family to my mother's homeland of Guyana for the first time. We went to visit my uncle in a small town called Suddie along the Essequibo River.

One day while we were there we were driving from Suddie to visit another town. My uncle was driving a pickup truck and three of his nieces along with myself and my two daughters were sitting in the back of the pickup truck.

One of his nieces was a young doctor. As we settled in for the long ride I decided to ask the young doctor about her career. The day was a misty one, the sun was not visible. She moved her arms animatedly as she talked. I could tell she was very excited about her career. I noticed a yellow light forming on the outside of her hands and then her hands began to fill in with a glowing green light from her fingertips to her elbows.

I had never seen an aura or anything like that before. I thought perhaps I was going a little crazy. Obviously no one else was seeing this phenomenon. When she stopped talking the glowing green light disappeared. So in order to confirm that I really did see what I thought I saw I began to ask her again about her career. The same thing happened again. I thought perhaps it would happen to everyone so I asked my daughter's in turn to wave their arms around. They thought I was a little crazy but they obeyed. Nothing happened to their hands and arms.

I decided I would not tell anyone what I saw until I could contact a priest that I knew who had studied strange phenomena. When I heard back from him he did not seem surprised at all and simply told me that some people see things and some people hear things and not to make anything of it.

It was a long time before I mentioned it to anyone again but I know an amazing woman who is a harpist and doctor of theology and who had studied harp vibrations. She had a study of hers published by the Mayo Clinic on the healing effects of vibrations. I felt that she wouldn't think I was crazy and I was so curious to know why the colour that I saw was green so I asked her.

Her reaction was very positive and she immediately said the green colour was simple to explain. She explained that each chakra has a different vibration and that every vibration has a colour. She told me that I was seeing the heart chakra's vibration which is green as the hands and arms are an extension of the heart chakra.

Now that I am Kundalini awakened I understand that my third eye had already been opening before my Awakening and that is why I was able to see the green aura. It now makes sense why no one else was able to see it.

The whole thing was a very strange experience for me but now that I am Kundalini awakened strange phenomena happen to me all the time and so I am pretty much used to it now.
