49. INDIRA'S LAVENDAR FIELDS MEDITATION

Let us begin by drawing our attention inwards and with a deep breath in welcome in the Life Energy which sustains us moment by moment and then exhale any tension that might be in your body. In this meditation I will be reading excerpts from various poems twice at each chakra. Find a word or a phrase to meditate on for about one minute.

1. Feel your body connecting to the Earth through your ROOT CHAKRA, it is located at the base of the spine and at the feet, the colour is red, it symbolizes survival.

Lavender, sweet lavender,
A scented purple haze.
With radiant lilac flowers,
I stand and look, amazed

2. Ascending the focus of your energy now to your SACRAL CHAKRA located in your lower abdomen area, the colour is orange, it symbolizes pleasure and desire.

Summer brings a fragrance
which is heaven in a scent
Sweet lavender, my saving grace
my senses to augment

3. Ascending the focus of your energy now to your SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA, it is located in the navel area, the colour is yellow, it symbolizes ego, power and will.

We are caught in the moment
Of awe and amaze
Upon this purple vision
Of beauty we now gaze

4. Ascending the focus of your energy to your HEART CHAKRA, located in your chest area, the colour is green, it symbolizes love and relationships.

Ah Lavender, Angels descend
My heart opens up
into the essence of life
A breath: fresh, floral notes
Awakens my Soul
I am calm & centered
I am full and whole
All the lilacs you can think of
A mass of swirling hues
Aromas tease your every senses
in a stunning panoramic view


5. Ascending the focus of your energy to your THROAT CHAKRA, the colour is blue, it symbolizes communication.

Wandering through natural beauty,
Walking row after row.
Lavender fields, a lilac scene,
As the wind does gently blow.

6. Ascending the focus of your energy to your THIRD EYE CHAKRA, located between your eyebrows, the colour is violet, it symbolizes your intuition and supernatural abilities.

Lavender inspiration guides me…
Through orchards and vineyards grown
Revitalizing my inner essence
Blessing the Lavender-flower sown;

7. Ascending the focus of your energy to your CROWN CHAKRA, here we envision a white light coming in and out of the top of our head. It symbolizes our higher consciousness joining with the source of life or surrender.

In my minds eyes i oft’ meditate-
‘Tis Lavender Fields now or never…
Transporting me into Vales O’ Bliss
Leading me into my Lavender
