44. Indira's Meditation with the Earth, Rivers, Forests, Oceans, Mountains, Sky and Stars:

Let us begin by drawing our attention inwards and with a deep breath in welcome in the Life Energy which sustains us moment by moment and then exhale any tension that might be in your body.

Bring the focus of your energy to your ROOT CHAKRA, it is located at the base of the spine and at the feet, the colour is red, it symbolizes survival. What do you feel with your bare feet walking on the earth? Do you feel the soil between the toes, do you feel the coolness of grass? We will remain here and at each chakra for about 2 minutes.

Ascending the focus of your energy now to your SACRAL CHAKRA located in your lower abdomen area, the colour is orange, it symbolizes sexuality and desire. How do you feel when you rest beside a river? Do the rushing waters of the river cause your heart to race with exhilaration?

Ascending the focus of your energy now to your SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA, it is located in the navel area, the colour is yellow, it symbolizes ego, power and will. What do you hear in the forest? Can you hear the wind rustling through the trees, can you hear the birds singing, can you hear a mouse scampering through fallen leaves?

Ascending the focus of your energy to your HEART CHAKRA, located in your chest area, the colour is green, it symbolizes love and relationships. What do you feel when you hear the ocean pounding on the shore? Can you feel your heart pounding along side the pounding of the ocean, constant like a pendulum. Can you hear the waves crashing and the seagulls crying?

Ascending the focus of your energy to your THROAT CHAKRA, the colour is blue, it symbolizes communication. How do you feel when you see the majesty of the mountains? Does awe strike your heart?

Ascending the focus of your energy to your THIRD EYE CHAKRA, located between your eyebrows, the colour is violet, it symbolizes your intuition and supernatural abilities. How do you feel when you contemplate the sky? Does your spirit want to soar to the clouds.

Ascending the focus of your energy to your CROWN CHAKRA, here we envision a white light coming in and out of the top of our head. It symbolizes our higher consciousness joining with the universal consciousness or surrender. What do you imagine when you gaze upon the stars? Are the mysteries of the universe piqued inside you? Are you drawn to the omnipotence of the Divine?
